...And I'm a female sports fan. A girly one at that. As much as I love watching and following professional sports of every kind, I love makeup, cooking, doing my nails, and following celebrity gossip. With a few exceptions (my female fandom included) I'm quite the girly-girl.
I love to cook up extravagant menus for big game days, add my team's colors to my makeup on game days, and wear their colors proudly. Unfortunately, the marketing big wigs haven't yet discovered the growing number of female fans out there and insist on using the term "shrink it and pink it" to cover their female market.
I don't know about you, but I don't know any teams out there who have bubblegum pink included in their team colors. When I'm cheering for my team I want to be wearing their logo in the correct color scheme.
For all the ladies out there with me, this blog is for you. Or, if you're brushing up on sports facts and trivia to impress the hot guy sitting next to you at the bar, we've got your back!
